Abstract

The researcher evaluates the availability of library material collections in the Politeknik Negeri Pontianak, because researchers see several things regarding the library materials needed. In this section, the researcher will discuss the relevance of the collections at the Politeknik Negeri Pontianak Unit. This is so that the books needed must be considered the types and levels of the existing programs. It can be concluded that the collections are good and balanced so that they can meet the needs of sevitas so that they can be read. Collection development activity is one of the important activities of a college library. is the latest information in a written work in accordance with the development of the number of majors developed in collaboration with all parties interested in collection development. This is so that the books needed must be considered the types and levels of the existing programs. It can be concluded that the collections are good and balanced so that they can meet the needs of sevitas so that they can be read. From various parties, both from users, librarians, and leaders both at the study program level and other faculties. The expectation that there is a collection in the library is always maintained for quality quality so that users are always satisfied with the services provided by the librarian.
