ANALISIS HIGHER ORDER THINKING DALAM MENYELESAIKAN SOAL OPEN ENDED MATERI GARIS DAN SUDUT PADA KELAS VIII SMP NEGERI 19 PONTIANAK

Abstract


Abstract The formulation of the problem in this study is "What is the Higher Order Thinking of Students in Completing Open Ended Problems with Lines and Angles?". The research method used in this research is descriptive method. The subjects in this study were students of class VIII SMP Negeri 19 Pontianak. The data collection tool used was a essay and an unstructured interview guide. Based on the results of the data analysis, it shows that the Higher Order Thinking of Grade VIII students of SMP Negeri 19 Pontianak has a different level of ability seen from the sub-indicators that appear on each indicator. In the analysis indicator, only students with very high abilities reach the three sub indicators of the analysis, namely differentiating, organizing and attributing. In the evaluation indicator, only students who have very high and high abilities reach the two sub indicators of the evaluation, namely, checking and criticizing. In creating indicators, only students who have very high abilities reach the three sub indicators of creating, namely, formulating, planning and producing.
