PENGARUH MOTIVASI ORANG TUA TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR PESERTA DIDIK DALAM MATA PELAJARAN IPS

Abstract

This research aims to determine how much influence the parents’ motivation has on the learning outcomes of class VIII C student in the social studies subject at SMP Negri 02 Sungai Raya, Kuburaya Regency. The reserch method used is descriptive with quantitative reserch from. The sample in the study was student of class VIII C as many as 30 student who were taken using purposive sampling technique and the data were in the from of a questionnaire about parents’ motivation with 3 indicators, namely the activeness of parents in encouraging children, providing learning facilities,the activeness of parents paying attention to the results learn children in school. based on the result of the data analysis, the resercher concluded that: in the result of the simple linear regression table, the tcount of the parent motivation variable is 12,412, greater than 2.024 and a significance value of 0.000, less than 0.05, it can be concluded that Ho is rejected. And it was concluded that the Parents’ Motivation variable effect on the learning outcomes of student. Provide encouragement to children while studying.
