PENERAPAN FULL DAY SCHOOL TERHADAP PRESTASI BELAJAR KELAS XI IPS DI SMA

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of the application of full day school on student achievement. With a research background, the implementation of full day school in formal education is the one of government effort to improve the quality of education. The method in this research is a descriptive method with a quantitative approach. While the analysis technique uses descriptive analysis techniques and simple linear regression analysis. The findings of the study indicate that: (1) The implementation of full day school in SMA Negeri 1 Kembayan is categorized "Good Enough". (2) The level of learning achievement of class XI IPS students at SMA Negeri 1 Kembayan is categorized as Good category. (3) the results of the analysis show that the relationship obtained by variable X (full day school) and variable Y (learning achievement) has a weak relationship with a negative direction, thus Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, which means that there is an influence between the implementation of full day school on the learning achievement to the students. So it can be concluded that the better the implementation of full day school, the learning achievement of students will decrease.
