In football extracurricular, the dominant problem experienced by students of SMPN 12 Pontianak of the 2019-2020 period is the basic shooting movement using improper instep. The main obstacle is that students have not been trained to do basic shooting techniques that resulted in inaccurate shootings. This study aims to determine the effect of training variations on the shooting accuracy in football extracurricular activities at SMP Negeri 12 Pontianak. The number of extracurricular participants is 20 people. The instrument used in this study is a test. The test given is by dividing the goal field into seven scoring areas: from the left and right ends near the goalposts are given a value of 7, then proceed to the middle of the goal area with a sequence of values of 5.3 and 1. Data were analyzed using the t-test formula. The results of the analysis show that the t value is 12.00> t table 2.539. There was an increase in the averages between the pretest of 50.65 and posttest of 67.35 by 32.97%. Therefore, the exercise variation has a significant effect on the shooting accuracy in the football extracurricular.
