ANALISIS PELAKSANAAN KONSELING INDIVIDUAL PADA PESERTA DIDIK DI SMP LKIA PONTIANAK

Research on the implementation of individual counseling was conducted at SMP LKIA Pontianak. This study aims to determine the implementation of individual counseling using a qualitative approach with data collection tools used, namely interviews, observation, and documentation. The subjects used in this study were 5 students, a supervisor, and 5 student friends. The results of this study indicate that in the early stages the supervisory teacher can form a good relationship with these students as seen from the students who come to the counseling room are welcomed by the supervisor, but in the early stages of counseling the supervisor did not make a time contract so that only one meeting was held. The mid-stage guidance teacher shows a good response to the problems experienced by students. In the final stage of individual counseling activities, students can show a good attitude, have a good understanding of themselves, can develop their potential, carry out individual counseling activities well, can understand the purpose of the counseling activities carried out and a sense of decreased fear experienced. Students while doing individual counseling activities.
