PENGEMBANGAN LEMBAR KERJA PESERTA DIDIK BERBASIS STEM UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KETERAMPILAN BERPIKIR KREATIF DI SEKOLAH MENENGAH PERTAMA

This study aims to develop a worksheet (LKPD) based on Science Technology Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) to improve the creative thinking skills of Junior high school students especially in Social Arithmethic material. The method used was pedagogical action research. The subjects in this study were 7 th grade students, teachers and a lecturer. Data collection techniques used interviews and observation. The instruments used were LKPD validation sheets, pretest-posttest, and questionnaires. Based on the result, LKPD based on STEM could improve the creative thinking skills of junior high school students, especially on 7th-grade students of SMP Negeri 1 Sanggau. It proved by the improvement of creative thinking skills components, which were fluency improved from 69,2% to 93,3%; flexibility improved from 69,2% to 93,3%; originality improved from 70,3% to 91,4%; elaboration improved from 69,4% to 90,6%; and evaluation improved from 65.6% to 89,6%. After using LKPD based on STEM, all of 7th grade students of SMP Negeri 1 Sanggau passed the Social Arithmethic test in the end of learning.
