PENANAMAN PENDIDIKAN KARAKTER KEMANDIRIAN PERILAKU SANTRIWATI MELALUI METODE PEMBIASAAN PONDOK PESANTREN NURUSSHIBYAN SINGKAWANG TENGAH

Abstract

This study aims to determine the cultivation of character education for independent behavior of students through routine, spontaneous, and exemplary habituation methods in the Nurusshibyan Islamic boarding school, Central Singkawang. The research approach used is a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. Data collection techniques used were observation, interviews, and documentation. The analysis in this study is presented in a descriptive qualitative manner using 7 informants, consisting of 2 administrators and 5 students. The results showed that the cultivation of character education for the independent behavior of students through routine, spontaneous, and exemplary habituation methods at the Nurusshibyan Islamic Boarding School, Central Singkawang could be concluded well. Although there are still some indicators that are not maximal in planting. For example, there are still students who need to be reminded when they pray in congregation, there are still students who do not obey the rules of the cottage, there are still students who litter, and there are still students who do not come on time.
