Abstract


Abstract The 2013 curriculum is a simplification and thematic-integrative effort. The purpose of this study was to determine the Implementation of the 2013 Curriculum in History Subjects at SMA Negeri 2 Sungai. The method used descriptive method with a qualitative approach. The technique of data collection were observation, interviews and documentation. Based on the results of interviews with teachers, researchers obtain data that the teacher did not carry out the preparation of the syllabus, because the syllabus had been prepared by the center, in this case the Curriculum Center (PUSKUR), so teachers only had to use it as a guideline for making the Learning Implementation Plan (RPP). The researcher can conclude that, the teacher states that he has try to prepare lesson plans that are in accordance with the 2013 curriculum as much as possible. All the requirements of the learning process have been fulfilled quite well. In the implementation of the learning process also takes place actively, creatively, effectively, and fun. But in achieving the competence of students in the implementation of the learning process is still far from successful. Keywords: Curriculum 2013, History Subject Teacher
