PENINGKATAN MEMBACA NOTASI BALOK DENGAN MELALUI METODE DRILL PADA PEMBELAJARAN BERNYANYI LAGU DAERAH

Abstract


Abstract This research is the lack of student accuracy in reading beam notation in class VII G in SMP N 5 Pontianak. This study aims to improve the accuracy of students in reading beam notation by using the drill method in learning music art in class VII G SMP N 5 Pontianak. This research uses descriptive method with shape Classroom Action Research and the nature of collaborative research. The subject is students who carry out cultural arts learning and skills using the drill method. This research was conducted in two cycles with two meetings, each cycle consisting of four stages, planning, action, observation, and reflection. The assessment indicators in singing accuracy include: Articulation, phrasering, and accuracy of tone sounds. The song is "Ampar Ampar Pisang". After cycle I and cycle II had done, the students has increased, cycle I average value of students is 61.29 then second cycle after an improvement is made, the ability to read the beam notation on the Ampar ampar Banana song by students, the value the average increased to 87.09 so that it is categorized well. The concluded that through the drill method in improving singing accuracy can improve the accuracy of students reading beam notation.
