HIGHER ORDER THINKING SKILLS SISWA DI SMK NEGERI 3 PONTIANAK
Abstract
Abstract This research aimed to describe Higher Order Thinking Skills of Students. This study discusses the achievement of indicators of critical thinking and creative thinking that is achieved by each student in solving sequence and series problems. The writing of this research used qualitative method with the descriptive research by describing all activities and findings that occurred in fact. The subjects of this study were students of grade XI Accounting 2 at SMK Negeri 3 Pontianak. The results of this research showed that the average critical thinking achievement of students exceeded four indicators so that based on the level of critical thinking classification. This statement proves that students are able to think critically in solving problems. On the other hand, on average, the creative thinking indicator achievement of students only reached one indicator, namely the indicator of fluency. It can be concluded that based on the classification level of creative thinking, students have achieved indicators of focus on questions, analyzed arguments, assessed the credibility of sources, made inductive conclusions, made deductive conclusions and defined assumptions, but it needs emphasis on achieving indicators of creative thinking where students only achieve one indicator.
