IMPLEMENTASI STRATEGI LITERASI DALAM PEMBELAJARAN IPS KELAS IX DI SMP NEGERI 6 PONTIANAK

Abstract


Abstract This study aims to observe the implementation of literacy strategy in Social Science instruction to the Class IX students of SMPN 6 Pontianak in the aspects of planning, implementation, learning outcomes, and attitudes. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. The research subjects who took part in this study the class IX Social Science teacher and students of SMPN 6 Pontianak. The techniques of data collection used were observation, interviews, and documentation, as well as the data collection tools used, were observation checklist, interview guidelines, and document sheets. Data analysis techniques used were data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The findings showed that in the planning step, the literacy strategy was included in making the lesson plan and implemented well according to the lesson plan made. The learning outcomes of the instructions showed significant results with the cognitive scores of 24 out of 30 students achieved the standard of minimum completeness criteria. In the aspect of attitudes, processes, and interests, the students are categorized very well. Keywords: Literacy Strategy, Social Science Instructions, Descriptive Qualitative
