Abstract


Abstract The facts showed that students' mathematic representation of absolute value was still in low classified. The lack of students' mathematic representation is influenced by several factors. One of which is lack of self efficacy in working on problems. Therefore this study aimed to describe the mathematic representation of the data center measure in terms of student self efficacy. The research method used was descriptive qualitative in the form of case studies. Subjects were twelfth students in SMA Negeri Islamiyah. The results of this study indicate that students' mathematic representation is balanced with learning self efficacy. Student who have high self efficacy skill doesn’t always have high mathematic representation skill either. Students who have low levels of self efficacy overall the results of the student’s mathematic representation test are also low.The conclusion from study's result showed that level the high student's self efficacy learning, the level student's mathematic representation was high also.
