ANALISIS TINGKAT BERPIKIR KREATIF MATEMATIS SISWA DALAM MENYELESAIKAN SOAL OPEN-ENDED MATERI PENGUKURAN KELAS IV

Students' mathematical creative thinking skills are important to be trained since students are at the elementary school level. Students are trained to solve open-ended questions so that their creative thinking develops. This type of research was a qualitative descriptive study that aimed to describe students' mathematical creative thinking skills. The subject was taken using purposive sampling which included 6 fourth grade students of SD Muhammadiyah 2 Pontianak. The research was conducted by means of observation, tests and interviews. Based on the results of data analysis of the 6 subjects studied, it can be concluded that the 6 subjects had different characters and different abilities to think creatively. The results showed that the mathematical creative thinking ability of students was in the medium category with an average of 5.76 or 48%, the fluent thinking aspect was high with an average of 2.9 or 73%, the flexible thinking aspect was in the high category with an average of 2.48 or 62%. Meanwhile, the ability to think novelty was in the very low category with an average of 0.52 or 13%.
