Abstract
The background of this research is focused on the semantic field with the aim of describing the word work relationship meaning in the Kapuas Hulu dialect Malay (BMDKH). The method used is descriptive method with a form of qualitative research. The data in this study are words that contain the verb BMDKH. The data source in this study is BMDKH which was spoken by a speaker in Piasak Village, Selimbau District, Kapuas Hulu Regency. Data collection techniques used by researchers in this study are direct communication with interviews and conversations. Data collection tool is to use research instruments in the form of vocabulary and sentence lists to capture data that researchers ask informants. Data analysis techniques used in this study were carried out through the stages of moving data into writing, translating, clarifying, and analyzing. Based on the results of research at BMDKH there are synonyms, antonyms, polysemics, homonyms, hyponyms, analyzed with verb classes. The relation of verb meaning in Kapuas Hulu dialect Malay is twenty-five synonyms, sixteen antonyms, seven polysemics, ten homonyms, and three hyponyms.
