PEMBELAJARAN BERBASIS LITERASI SAINS PADA MATERI LARUTAN ELEKTROLIT DAN NON ELEKTROLIT DI SMA NEGERI 1 PONTIANAK

Abstract


Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui adanya perbedaan hasil belajar siswa yang diajar dengan pembelajaran berbasis literasi sains dan yang diajar dengan pembelajaran konvensional serta besarnya pengaruh pembelajaran berbasis literasi sains dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa di SMA Negeri 1 Pontianak. Bentuk penelitian yaitu eksperimen semu dengan rancangan Non Randomized Control Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Sampel berjumlah 28 orang di kelas kontrol dan 30 orang di kelas eksperimen. Hasil analisis data posttest menggunakan uji statistik U Mann Whitney dengan taraf nyata ?=5% berbantuan software SPSS 17.0 for windows diperoleh Asymp. Sig. (2-tailed) sebesar 0.000. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar antara siswa yang diajar dengan pembelajaran berbasis literasi sains dan yang diajar dengan pembelajaran konvensional. Pembelajaran berbasis literasi sains ini memberikan pengaruh terhadap peningkatan hasil belajar siswa sebesar 48,17%. Selain hasil belajar, ternyata saat penelitian ditemukan bahwa pembelajaran berbasis literasi sains juga dapat meningkatkan aktivitas siswa.

Abstract: The aims of this research are to determine the different between students learning outcome with learning based on scientific literacy and with conventional learning, and the influence of learning based on scientific literacy to increase students learning outcome in SMA N 1 Pontianak. The type of this research is Quasy Experiment with Non Randomized-Control Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The samples of this research are 28 students from control class and 30 students from experiment class. The result of posttest data analysis used U Mann Whitney statistic with one tailed test, ?=5% assisted software SPSS 17.0 for windows obtain the Asymp. Sig. (2-tailed) is 0.000. The result showed that there was the different between students learning outcome with learning based on scientific literacy and with conventional learning. Learning based on scientific literacy gave influence to the increasing of students learning outcome 48,17%. Beside that, this research also found that learning based on scientific literacy can increase the students activities.
