This study aims to find out about, "Application of Basic Teaching Skills for Sociology Subject Teachers in Class XI IPS Panca Bhakti Pontianak High School". The research method used is descriptive in the form of qualitative research. The source of this research data is the 2015 PPAPK sociology education student FKIP UNTAN. Data collection techniques used were interview techniques and documentation, while the data collection tools used were interview guides and documentation. The analysis in this study was presented in a qualitative descriptive manner using 7 informants. The problem in this thesis is, "Application of Basic Teaching Skills for Sociology Subject Teachers in Class XI IPS Panca Bhakti High School Pontianak". With sub-problems 1. How are the skills to ask the sociology subject teacher in class XI IPS in Panca Bhakti High School Pontianak? conducted by a sociology subject teacher in class XI IPS in Panca Bhakti High School Pontianak? .1. The teacher performs the questioning skills very well based on the questions the teacher gives to the students, 2. The teacher performs reinforcement skills in two ways, namely verbal and non verbal skills, such as using positive words and giving applause when students answer the questions given doing skills in media variations is still relatively lacking because of the availability of existing facilities and infrastructure. This researcher was conducted using descriptive research methods using qualitative forms of assessment.
