Abstract

This research aimed to explore information about student’s learning style and student’s mathematical communication ability. This research method is descriptive in the form of case studies. The subject of this study was 8th grade of Elementory Student and the object of this study was mathematical communication skills that were investigated based on student learning styles in quadrilateral. The result of this research showed that learning style of VIII G class were visual, auditorial, and kinestetik. Mathematical communication skills of students with visual learning styles can be categorized as good. Mathematical communication skills of students with auditory learning styles can be categorized quite well. Mathematical communication skills of students with kinesthetic learning styles can be categorized as not good.  It can be concluded that student’s mathematical communication ability of each learning style are relative to equal, which is mean as not achieved the indicator of mathematical communication.
