PENINGKATAN SOSIAL EMOSIONAL MELALUI BERMAIN PERAN MIKRO PADA KELOMPOK B DI PAUD MAKARTI MEMPAWAH

The background of this research is that the current generation has more emotional difficulties than the previous generation so that it has an impact on their social abilities. Thus there needs to be an effort to increase children's emotional intelligence so that they are able to recognize the feelings of themselves and others, be able to motivate themselves and be able to manage emotions and social behavior. Efforts to improve social and emotional abilities can be done through micro role play activities. The purpose of this study is to find out whether through micro role play activities can improve children's emotional social development by analyzing how the children's social emotional development before and after micro role play activities are applied and whether there are differences in children's emotional emotional development before and after micro role play activities are applied. The method used was an experiment with one group pretest posttest design, t-test and effect size. The results of the pretest observation showed that the average level of achievement of assessment of children's emotional emotional development was 1.78 and the average posttest result was 2.85 with a sample of 20 children. Furthermore, a t-test with the results of 5.63> 1.73 is a significant difference, and is supported by the effect size test value in this study of 2.3> 1.00. In general it was concluded that micro role play activities could increase the emotional social development of children in the B3 group PAUD Makarti Mempawah District. It was proven from the average pretest 1.78 and posttest 2.85. Children's social emotional development can be improved through micro role playing activities.
