Abstract

This study intends to develop learning media in the form of multimedia using the development of Dick and Carey's instructional systems, which students need to learn the concept of human rights. The method used in this study is the research and development method of Borg and Gall with the design model for developing the Dick and Carrey instructional systems. Data obtained through observation, interview and documentation activities applied to the subject of research. The results of this study are: 1) the development of multimedia learning with the Dick and Carey instructional system development model through 10 stages. 2) Validity of multimedia learning development according to reviews of message design experts, media experts and material experts obtained very good results in aspects of language assessment 92%, feasibility aspects of assessment 90%, feasibility aspects of media effects on learning strategies 92% and overall display aspects 92% . Based on product trials, the results obtained were very good with the percentage level of achievement of individual trials, small group trials and field tests which were 90,001%, 84,521% and 82,501%.The effectiveness of the development of multimedia learning learning in the concept of human rights shows thitung 10,927> t table 2,028094 so that H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. There are significant differences in learning outcomes of human rights before and after using multimedia learning. Therefore, the development of multimedia learning to learn human rights concepts is effectively used to improve student learning outcomes.
