PENERAPAN MODEL DIRECT INSTRUCTION UNTUK MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR PESERTA DIDIK PADA MATERI ENERGI

Abstract

The lack of learning outcomes of MTs Negeri 2 Pontianak Students of VII Class in Science, especially Energy was caused by the fact that there were many students who didn’t really understand Physics or find it hard to understand it and also the lack of motivation and interest in this field. This research used direct instruction as studying model which aims to increase learning outcomes in Science, especially Energy. The method used in this research was pre-experimental design with one group pretest-postest design that showed the comparison of before and after the test. The population of this research is MTs Negeri Pontianak Students of VII B-K, while the sample of this research was only one class  obtained with using simple random sampling technique that was VII B Class with a total of 36 students.This Research also collected data by giving the students pretest and posttest. The result of this research showed that there was an escalation of learnig outcomes before and after using direct instruction studying model with asymp. Sig 0,000<0,05.
