DESKRIPSI KESULITAN BELAJAR DAN FAKTOR PENYEBABNYA PADA MATERI FUNGI DI SMA ISLAM BAWARI PONTIANAK DAN UPAYA PERBAIKANNYA

Abstract


Abstrak: Hasil ulangan harian pada materi fungi di SMA Islam Bawari Pontianak tergolong rendah, hal ini menunjukkan siswa mengalami kesulitan belajar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kesulitan belajar, faktor penyebab dan upaya perbaikan yang dapat dilakukan untuk meminimalisir kesulitan belajar siswa pada materi fungi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif dengan bentuk penelitian studi kasus. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X A tahun ajaran 2012/2013 yang mendapat nilai dibawah KKM (<70). Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah tes diagnostik, angket dan pedoman wawancara penyebab kesulitan belajar siswa. Berdasarkan analisis data diperoleh bahwa siswa kelas X A mengalami kesulitan belajar pada materi fungi yang ditunjukkan dengan ketuntasan 0% dari hasil tes diagnostik. Kesulitan belajar tertinggi terdapat pada indikator macam-macam spora yang dihasilkan fungi dan kesulitan belajar yang terendah terdapat pada indikator peran fungi dan proses produksi yang memanfaatkan fungi. Faktor penyebabkan kesulitan belajar siswa pada materi fungi lebih didominasi oleh subfaktor kebiasaan belajar dengan skor 2,04 dan subfaktor minat dengan skor 1,87 (dengan skor maksimal 3,00). Upaya perbaikan yang dilakukan adalah dengan memberikan ringkasan bahan pelajaran dari materi fungi yang kemudian ditindaklanjuti dengan mengadakan kegiatan retest untuk melihat keberhasilan dari upaya perbaikan yang telah dilakukan. Hasil dari kegiatan retest tersebut memeprlihatkan peningkatan ketuntasan siswa menjadi 69,44%.

DESCRIPTION OF LEARNING DIFFICULTY AND ITS CAUSAL FACTOR OF FUNGI MATERIAL IN SMA ISLAM BAWARI PONTIANAK AND ITS EFFORT TO SOLVE IT

Abstract: Students result in test of fungi material in SMA Islam Bawari Pontianak can be rated poorly in which shows that the students have learning difficulties. This research has purpose to describe learning difficulties, its causal factors,and the efforts to solve them that can be done to diminish the students difficulties in learning about fungi. Method that being used in this research is descriptive in form of case study research. Subject of this research are students in class XA Academic Year of 2012/2013 who getting scores under KKM (<70). Instruments used in the research are diagnostic test, questionnaire and interview. Based on data analysis that has been gotten, it shows that students in class XA have difficulties in learning about fungi in which can be looked in diagnostic test that shows studentsmasteries are at level 0%. The most difficult part in learning about fungi material is in indicator about kinds of spore that being produced by fungi and the least difficult part is in indicator about role of fungi and production process that uses fungi. Causal factors of students difficulties in fungi material are more dominated by subfactor of learning habit at score 2,04 and subfactor of motivation at score 1,87 (with maximum score 3,00). Effort that can be done for solving the problem is by giving summary about fungi material which can be followed by doing retest to see if the effort that has been given succeeded. Result of the retest shows that there is students improvement in learning and has reached 69,44%.
