PERBEDAAN MINAT BELAJAR SISWA LAKI-LAKI DENGAN PEREMPUAN PADA PEMBELAJARAN SENI MUSIK DI SMAN 3 PONTIANAK

Abstract
The background of this research was an assumption of differences in learning interest of male and female students on vocal material in music. The common problem in this research was: how much learning interest of male and female students in the learning interest instrument which consisted of four indicators, namely feeling happy, learning interest, students’ learning attention, and students’ involvement in learning vocal material. The method used in this research was a comparative research method with a form of quantitative research. From the results of the indicators average of male and female students included in the same category. The results of the analysis were also seen from the t count of an independent sample t-test which was concluded in the testing criteria - t table < t count < t table namely Ho was rejected which means that in this research there were no significant differences in the learning interest of male and female students on vocal material in music art learning at SMAN 3 Pontianak.
