PENGGUNAAN METODE PREVIEW, QUESTION, READ, REFLECT, RECITE, REVIEW UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KETERAMPILAN MEMBACA SISWA SMP
Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan membaca pada pembelajaran menemukan masalah utama dalam berita melalui metode preview, question, read, reflect, recite, review pada siswa kelas VIII semester 2 SMP Negeri 1 Sungai Pinyuh tahun pembelajaran 2012/2013. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif dengan prosedur penelitian tindakan kelas yang terdiri dari 2 siklus. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perencanaan dan pelaksanaan pembelajaran sudah dilaksanakan oleh guru dengan tepat dan maksimal. aktivitas belajar dan motivasi siswa mengalami peningkatan pada setiap siklusnya. hasil belajar siswa juga mengalami peningkatan. nilai rata-rata siswa pada siklus I yaitu 63,76%, mengalami peningkatan pada siklus II sebesar 83,33%.

Abstract: This research aims to improve the reading skills of learning found the main problems in the news through methods preview, question, read, reflect, Recite, review the second semester of eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 1 River Pinyuh learning year 2012/2013. The method used is descriptive research procedure class measures consisting of 2 cycles. The results showed that the planning and implementation of learning has been implemented by teachers with appropriate and maximum. learning activities and motivation of students has increased in each cycle. Student learning outcomes also increased. Value of the average student in the first cycle is 63,76%, an increase on the second cycle of 83,33%.
