PENERAPAN MODEL PBL DENGAN PENDEKATAN METAKOGNITIF UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KEMAMPUAN PEMECAHAN MASALAH MATEMATIS SISWA SMP

Abstract
This research aimed to improve students ' mathematical problem solving abilities through application of Problem Based Learning (PBL) model with metacognitive approach. This research is quasi experimental research with an equivalent control group design. In experiments class be applied model of PBL with the Metacognitive approach and the control class be applied PBL model. Based on data analysis found that (1) Before the implementation problem solving ability of students are equal. (2) After the implemantation problem solving ability class experiments higher than class control . (3) The improving of problem solving ability class experiments better than class control. (4) The application PBL model with the metacogntive approach gives a high influence to the students mathematical problem solving abilities.
