PENGUATAN PENDIDIKAN KARAKTER BERBASIS BUDAYA SEKOLAH MELALUI PROGRAM LITERASI DASAR DI SEKOLAH DASAR NEGERI PONTIANAK

Abstract:

 Focused on the problems of how the planning, implementation and evaluation of character-based school culture education through basic literacy ptogram, this research was to describe the strengthening of character-based school culture education through basic literacy program in Pontianak primary School. This research was conducted in SD Negeri 37 Pontianak Tenggara in the design of qualitative descriptive study. The research subjects werw the principals, teacher and learners. The techniques of collecting data were observation, structured interview, and documentary study. The tools of data collection were observation notes on the teachers and learners, interview sheet and documentation. The results revealed that the planning of strengthening character-based school culture education through basic literacy program was constructed and executed in accordance with the guidance of the 2013 curriculum and the guidance of school programs, covering the values of strengthening the education of culturalized characters. The implementation of character learning process was applied through scientific approach and quantum learning. It was also shown that continuous modeling and character learning evaluation were conducted through observation and portfolio.
