LEKSIKON GAWE PADA MASYARAKAT DAYAK ULU SAKADO KECAMATAN NANGA MAHAP KABUPATEN SEKADAU

Abstract

Abstract Lexicon in gawe (marriage ceremony) has many terms that is not used among Dayak Ulu Sakado community especially in the tools, materials, and the process of implementation. In the modern era, the tools, materials, and processec in gawe has changed from traditional to modern. Therefore,it causes the decrease of gawe lexicon (marriage ceremony) introduction among Dayak Ulu Sakado comumunity especially among the young generation. The problems in this research are the inventory, the form, and the lexical and cultural meaning of gawe (marriage ceremony) on Dayak Ulu Sakado community subdistrict Nanga Mahap in Sekadau, as well as the implementation in teaching and learning process in school. Researcher used qualitative method and descriptive research form. Based on the research that has been done, the result that are found in lexicon gawe is as follows: the lexicon inventory based on the tools classification, the materials, and the processes; lingual unit froms of monomorphism, polymorphism, and phrase; lexical and cultural meaning of lexicon gawe based on the tools, the materials, the processes, and the implementation of lexicon gawe (marriage ceremony )learning in school in form of procedure text.
