ANALISIS IMPLEMENTASI CATUR GATRA EKA DHARMA GURU DI DAERAH PERBATASAN KECAMATAN PURING KENCANA KAPUAS HULU

The problem of this research was focused on how the understanding and the techniques of the teachers of Puring Kencana sub-district implemented Catur Gatra EKa Dharma (CGED). The purpose of this research was to describe them in the link of learning PKN in class IV, V and VI. The type of research was qualitative research, with qualitative descriptive method. The subjects of the research were 18 teachers of elementary school of Puring Kencana sub-district of the border area of Kapuas Hulu Regency. Based on the data analysis and its discussion, the research results indicated that the elementary school teachers understood CGED 83.30% (15 teachers). By these teachers, CGED elements were implemented in the professional PKN learning activities. They taught the students using contextual, humanistic approaches and varied methods. They applied various learning models such as role playing, singing: children's songs, local songs, national anthem, mandatory songs and teacher hymn song in a contextual PKN learning with CGED integration. This brought more fun and meaningful learning for the elementary school students, especially in the characters building of developing pride and love of the homeland to maintain the unity of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia (NKRI), in the border areas with Malaysia.
