PENINGKATAN KETERAMPILAN BERBICARA MENGGUNAKAN MEDIA GAMBAR SERI DI KELAS III SEKOLAH DASAR

Abstract

This research uses descriptive method that aims to describe the improvement of learning skills of Indonesian language in applying the drawing media series of students class III SDN 03 Melayang Bengkayang Regency. The procedure in this research has 4 stages namely, planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. It is continuously done repeatedly until the research objectives are achieved, in this study has three cycles with each cycle conducted one meeting.This research technique uses observation technique and research instrument using observation sheet which is used to assess teacher ability that is based on IPKG I, IPKG II and student speaking skill.Based on the results of research conducted obtained IPKG I cycle I with an average of 1.70, cycle II with mean of 2,90 and cycle III with average 3,39. IPKG II obtained the results of cycle I with a mean of 1.48, cycle II with a mean of 3.00 and cycle III 3.83. While students' speaking skill resulted in cycle I with average 53,64, cycle II with mean of 66,64 and cycle III 85,64. Based on these results, the series image media can provide improved speaking skills of students.
