REMEDIASI MISKONSEPSI SISWA MENGGUNAKAN TEXT TRANSFORMATION BERBENTUK CATATAN:TS TENTANG IMPULS DAN MOMENTUM DI SMA
Abstract
Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh remediasi menggunakan text transformation berbentuk catatan:TS terhadap penurunan jumlah miskonsepsi siswa di kelas XI SMA Negeri 2 Pontianak tahun pelajaran 2012/2013. Karena itu, instrumen penelitian yang dibuat berupa tes diagnostik dengan metode Certainly of Responden Index (CRI) digunakan untuk menetapkan penurunan jumlah miskonsepsi persiswa. Penelitian berupa one group pretest-posttest design. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri 2 Pontianak. Partisipan ditentukan melalui teknik intact group kelas XI IPA3. Siswa dilatih untuk mentransformasikan buku ajar pada materi impuls dan momentum ke jenis catatan yang terdiri dari sajian naratif dan tanggapan-tanggapannya. Reliabilitas pre-test (0,584 ) dan post-test (0,564 ) serta face validity soal pre-test (4,07) dan post-test (4,10). Hasil analisis uji Wilcoxon menunjukkan remediasi miskonsepsi menggunakan text transformation berbentuk catatan :TS berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap perubahan jumlah miskonsepsi siswa (Z = -3,418, p = 0.01). Penelitian ini, tidak menemukan korelasi yang signifikan antara keterampilan membuat Catatan:TS dan penurunan jumlah miskonsepsi siswa ( = 0.119, p = 0.490). Harga effect size adalah 1,65. Disarankan agar ada penelitian lanjut tentang bentuk-bentuk lain text transformation.

Abstract: The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of remediation activity through text transformation on misconception among grade XI students at the Pontianak II Goverment Secondary School. In order to achieve this aim, a diagnostic test was constructed using Certainly of Responden Index to prompt students misconception reability of pre-test was 0,584 and post-test was 0,564. The face validity of pre-test was 4,10 and post-test was 4,16. Using intact group method students from the class XI IPA3 academic year 2012/2013 was chosen to participate in the one group pretest-posttest experimental design. These students were trained to transform the textbook presentation on impuls and momentum to the kinds of notes consisting narative presentation and their responses. Analysis results indicated that the remediation activity significanly influence on students misconception reduction (Z = -3,418, p = 0.01). However, there is no correlation betwen students note taking skill and the reduction of student misconception. It is noted that the effect size is 1,65. It is suggested for further study to other form of text transformation.
