Abstract

The problem in this study is whether there is influence STAD cooperative learning model of the learning outcomes of Civic Education in Elementary School fifth grade Negeri 17 Pontianak and how much influence STAD cooperative learning model of the learning outcomes of Civic Education in Elementary School fifth grade Negeri 17 Pontianak. This study aims to prove the effect of STAD cooperative learning model of the learning outcomes of Civic Education in Elementary School fifth grade Negeri 17 Pontianak and how much influence STAD cooperative learning model of the learning outcomes of Civic Education in Elementary School fifth grade Negeri 17 Pontianak. This study used an experimental method. Forms used experimental research is quasi-experimental design with type Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The population in this study were all fifth grade students of State Elementary School 17 Pontianak City which consists of 58 students. Techniques used in data collection is a measurement technique. Data collection tool used is a test with the type of written test in the form of objective totaling 20 questions. Based on data analysis using parametric statistical analysis techniques obtained average learning outcomes of students after being given treatment in the experimental class 80.01. Based on the analysis of hypothesis testing using t-test is obtained thitung = 2.317 and the price of replacement ttabel (α = 5%) of 2.04455, which means thitung (2,317)> ttabel (2.010), then Ha accepted. Thus, it can be concluded that there are significant STAD cooperative learning model of the learning outcomes of Civic Education in Elementary School fifth grade Negeri 17 Pontianak.
