METODE DEMONSTRASI UNTUK MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR IPA PADA SISWA KELAS IV SDN 04 MENTEBAH

Abstract

Abstract: Improve student learning outcomes in a material change in the form of learning objects in the Natural Sciences in Public Elementary School fourth grade 04 Mentebah. The purpose of this study to improve student learning outcomes of the changes of state of objects in the Natural Sciences learning in class IV SDN 04 Mentebah Kapuas Hulu. The method used is descriptive method with qualitative nature and type of research is classroom action research (CAR), which assisted the researcher in his research observator good teachers in planning phase, implementation, observation and reflection. The research was conducted by 2 cycles and the subject of this study, there are 18 people consisting of teachers as well as researchers, 10 students and 7 girls. Techniques and data collection tool used in this research is a direct observation techniques and tools observation sheet. In the first cycle, the average student learning outcomes by using the method of demonstration at 55.88 and 70.14 on the second cycle. Based on the results of this study concluded that with the implementation of demonstration method can improve student learning outcomes in the Natural Sciences learning material changes to the form object class IV Mentebah Kapuas Hulu.

Abstrak : Meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa dalam materi perubahan wujud benda pada pembelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam di kelas IV Sekolah Dasar Negeri 04 Mentebah. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa tentang perubahan wujud benda dalam pembelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam di kelas IV SDN 04 Mentebah Kapuas Hulu. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriftif dengan sifat kualitatif dan jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas ( PTK ) yang dalam penelitiannya peneliti dibantu guru observator baik dalam tahap perencaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan dan refleksi. Penelitian ini dilakukan sebanyak 2 siklus dan subyek penelitian ini ada 18 orang terdiri dari guru yang juga sebagai peneliti , 10 orang siswa dan 7 orang siswi. Tehnik dan alat pengumpul data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini berupa tehnik observasi langsung dan alat lembar observasi. Pada siklus I rata-rata hasil belajar siswa dengan menggunakan metode demonstrasi sebesar 55.88 dan pada siklus II 70.14. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa dengan penerapan metode demonstrasi dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada pembelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam materi perubahan wujud benda dikelas IV Mentebah Kapuas Hulu.
