INTEGRASI REMEDIASI MISKONSEPSI DENGAN MODEL GENERATIF DALAM PEMBELAJARAN GERAK LURUS BERUBAH BERATURAN DI SMA

Abstract


Abstrak : Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas remediasi yang terintegrasi dalam pembelajaran gerak lurus berubah beraturan (GLBB) menggunakan model generatif dalam menurunkan jumlah siswa yang mengalami miskonsepsi di kelas X SMA Negeri 1 Sekayam. Bentuk penelitian berupa Pre-Eksperimental design dengan rancangan One Group Pre-Test Post-Test yang melibatkan 39 siswa kelas X F sebagai sampel yang dipilih secara intact group random sampling. Data diperoleh dengan memberikan tes diagnostik berupa soal pilihan ganda dengan alasan terbuka sebanyak 12 soal. Berdasarkan analisis data untuk seluruh konsep terjadi penurunan jumlah siswa yang mengalami miskonsepsi sebesar 50,39%. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa remediasi yang terintegrasi dalam pembelajaran GLBB menggunakan model generatif efektif untuk menurunkan jumlah siswa yang mengalami miskonsepsi dengan effect size Cohen’s sebesar 2,0 (kategori tinggi). Dengan  demikian, penelitian ini diharapkan dapat digunakan guru sebagai alternatif untuk memperbaiki miskonsepsi siswa dalam memahami konsep GLBB.

Abstract : This study aims to determine the effectiveness of remediation that is integrated in the learning of uniformly accelerated motion using generative models to reduce the number of students who have misconceptions in grade X SMAN 1 Sekayam. The form of research of this study is Pre-Experimental with One Group Pre-Test Post-Test design involving 39 students of class X F as a sample which is selected by intact group random sampling. Data obtained by providing diagnostic tests in the form of multiple choice questions with open reason as many as 12 questions. Based on data analysis to the whole concept, there is a declining in the number of students who have misconceptions with the average decrease of 50,39 % and the effectiveness of remediation integrated in the learning of uniformly accelerated motion using generative models is included in high category with Cohen's effect size of 2,0. The results of this study indicate that remediation which is integrated in the learning of uniformly accelerated motion using generative models is effective for lowering the number of students who have misconceptions. Thus, this study is expected to be used by teachers as an alternative to fix up the students’ misconceptions in understanding the concept of uniformly accelerated motion.
