PENERAPAN PENDEKATAN KONTEKSTUAL TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR OPERASI HITUNG BILANGAN BULAT DI SMP

Abstract


Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keefektifan pembelajaran menggunakan pendekatan kontekstual pada operasi hitung bilangan bulat di kelas VII SMPN 10 Sungai Kakap. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pre-eksperimental design dengan rancangan penelitian one-shot case study. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII B SMPN 10 Sungai Kakap. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan guru dalam mengelola pembelajaran tergolong pada kategori cukup baik dengan rata-rata sebesar 2,76, aktivitas siswa selama pembelajaran tergolong pada kategori cukup aktif dengan rata-rata sebesar 2,38, dan ketuntasan hasil belajar siswa tidak tuntas secara klasikal sehingga pembelajaran dengan menggunakan pendekatan kontekstual tidak efektif untuk diterapkan di kelas VII SMPN 10 Sungai Kakap.

Abstract: This research was aimed to find the effectiveness of contextual learning approach to the integer operations in the seventh grade students of SMP Negeri 10 Sungai Kakap. The research method that used was pre-experimental design with one-shot case study. The sample of this research was taken from the students of VII B of SMP Negeri 10 Sungai Kakap. The results of this research showed that the ability of teacher in managing learning is in the good enough with the average value 2.76, students activity during the learning belonging to the category of active enough with an average of 2.38, and the mastery learning of students was not master in the classcally. The result of this research is that the contextual learning approach in the seventh grade students of SMP Negeri 10 Sungai Kakap is not effective.
