UPAYA MENINGKATKAN AKTIVITAS SISWA DALAM PEMBELAJARAN IPS MELALUI MODEL PEMBELAJARAN TALKING STICK DI KELAS VIII C SMP NEGERI 1 NANGA TAYAP TAHUN PELAJARAN 2012/2013

Abstract

Abstract : Efforts to Improve Student Activities in Learning Through Learning Model IPS Talkin Stick in Class VIII C SMP Negeri 1 Nanga Tayap Academic Year 2012/2013. Action research aims to increase student activity in the classroom VIIIC SMP Negeri 1 Nanga Tayap through the application of learning models increased and reached Talking Stick.The research was carried out by the number of 27 students consisting of 13 male students and 14 female students. Prior research students seem inactive and not in the spirit of learning activities .. After research actions carried out by the students begin to show improvement cycle aktifitasan students to 66.6% in the first cycle that can be said to be active in teaching and learning. For the second cycle increasing student activity increased again that 81.4% of students active, with 75% of the performance indicators of a class action with the talking stick models can increase the activity of class VIII C SMP Negeri 1 Nanga Tayap on Integrated social studies.

Abstrak : Upaya Meningkatkan Aktivitas Siswa Dalam Pembelajaran IPS Melalui Model Pembelajaran Talkin Stick di Kelas VIII C SMP Negeri 1 Nanga Tayap Tahun Pelajaran 2012/2013. Penelitian tindakan kelas ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan aktivitas siswa di kelas VIIIC SMP Negeri 1 Nanga Tayap melalui penerapan model pembelajaran Talking Stick meningkat dan tercapai.Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan jumlah 27 siswa yang terdiri dari 13 siswa laki-laki dan 14 siswa perempuan. Sebelum dilakukan penelitian siswa kelihatan tidak aktif dan tidak semangat dalam kegiatan belajar. Setelah penelitian tindakan dilaksanakan dengan satu siklus siswa mulai menunjukan peningkatan ke aktifitasan siswa pada siklus I 66,6 % yang dapat dikatakan aktif dalam KBM. Untuk siklus II peningkatan aktivitas siswa mengalami peningkatan lagi yaitu 81,4 % siswa aktif, Dengan indicator kinerja 75 % maka tindakan kelas dengan model talking stick dapat meningkatkan aktifitas siswa kelas VIII C SMP Negeri 1 Nanga Tayap pada mata pelajaran IPS Terpadu.
