PENERAPAN MODEL MEMORIZATION LEARNING BERBANTUAN MODEL FRAYER TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR PADA SUB MATERI INVERTEBRATA

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hasil belajar siswa kelas X SMAN 1 Sungai Raya pada sub materi invertebrata melalui penerapan model memorization learning berbantuan model Frayer. Bentuk penelitian adalah eksperimen semu (Quasi Eksperimental) dengan rancangan nonequivalent control group design. Sampel penelitian adalah kelas X IPA 3 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas X IPA 5 sebagai kelas kontrol. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa tes pilihan ganda berjumlah 20 butir soal. Dari hasil analisis data diperoleh rata-rata skor hasil belajar siswa kelas eksperimen adalah 15,54, sedangkan kelas kontrol adalah 13,82. Berdasarkan uji U Mann-Whitney dengan taraf nyata 5% diperoleh Zhitung < -Ztabel yaitu sebesar -2,75 < -1,96 yang berarti terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara hasil belajar siswa pada kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol.

Abstract: The aim of this research was to know students learning outcome of grade X Senior High School 1 Sungai Raya in the invertebrate sub-materials using the application of memorization learning model helped by frayer model. It was quasi-experimental study with nonequivalent control group design. The sample of this research were X IPA 3 as experiment class and X IPA 5 as control class. The instrument was multiple choice tests with 20 questions. From the data analysis there are 15,54 as the average students learning outcome in experiment class and in the other hand 13,82 in control class. Based on U Mann-Whitney test with significance 5%, the Zcount < -Ztable is about -2,75 < -1,96 it means there is a significant differences between students learning outcome in experiment class and control class.
