EFEKTIVITAS MODEL INQUIRY TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR DAN SIKAP ILMIAH SISWA PADA MATERI JAMUR KELAS X SMA
Abstract
Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas model pembelajaran inquiry terhadap hasil belajar dan sikap ilmiah siswa pada materi jamur di kelas X SMAN 9 Pontianak. Bentuk penelitian adalah eksperimen semu (Quasi Eksperimental Design) dengan rancangan nonequivalent control group design. Sampel penelitian ini yaitu X MIA 1 (kelas eksperimen) dan kelas X MIA 2 (kelas kontrol). Teknik pengambilan sampel adalah dengan intact group. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa tes pilihan ganda berjumlah 20 butir dan lembar observasi sikap ilmiah. Dari hasil penelitian diperoleh skor rata-rata hasil posttest siswa kelas eksperimen adalah 16,92, sedangkan kelas kontrol adalah 13,00. Pada uji U-Mann Whitney diperoleh Zhitung < -Ztabel (-5,72 < -1,96) sehingga disimipulkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar siswa yang diajarkan dengan model pembelajaran inquiry dengan yang menggunakan model konvensional. Berdasarkan nilai Effect Size diketahui model pembelajaran inquiry memberikan kontribusi 39,62% terhadap hasil belajar siswa. Sedangkap sikap ilmiah siswa tergolong sangat tinggi dengan persentase 88,55%.

Abstract: This study aimed to determine the effectiveness of the inquiry learning model for learning outcomes and scientific attitude of students on fungal material in class X of SMAN 9 Pontianak. Method used was quasi-experimental design with nonequivalent control group. The research sample is class X MIA 1 (experimental class) and class X MIA 2 (control class). The instrument used was a multiple choice test which consist of 20 items and scientific attitude observation paper. The sampling was intact group. From the research result, obtained an average score of posttest results of students in the experimental class which was 16,92, while the average score of posttest in control class was 13,00. For the analysis of U-Mann Whitney test obtained Zcount ≤ Ztable (-5,72 ≤ -1.96)so that it can be concluded that there is a difference in student’s outcomes whom were taught by using inquiry model with those whom were taught by using conventional model.. Based on the value of Effect size, it is known that inquiry model contributed 39,62% on the learning outcomes. Whereas scientific attitude of students is very high with a percentage of 88.55 % .
