PENGEMBANGAN MEDIA CHEMBO (CHEMISTRY BOARD) MATERI ZAT ADIKTIF DAN PSIKOTROPIKA SISWA KELAS VIII SMP
Abstract
Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan produk berupa media pembelajaran Chemistry Board (ChemBo) yang layak digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran IPA pada materi zat adiktif dan psikotropika. Bentuk penelitian yang digunakan ialah penelitian dan pengembangan (R&D). Terdapat tujuh tahap dalam model pengembangan ini yaitu penelitian pendahuluan, melakukan perencanaan, mendesain produk awal, uji coba lapangan awal, revisi produk awal, uji coba lapangan utama dan revisi produk akhir. Penilaian kelayakan ditinjau dari segi kegrafikan, kebahasaan dan materi. Subyek penelitian yaitu siswa SMP Negeri di Kota Pontianak dengan peringkat sekolah tinggi, sedang dan rendah untuk dilakukan uji coba lapangan terhadap respon pengguna produk. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tingkat kelayakan dan tingkat respon pengguna berturut-turut sebesar 85,60% dan 87,9%. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa media Chemistry Board (ChemBo) sangat layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran IPA-kimia materi zat adiktif dan psikotropika.

Abstract: The aim of this study was to produce a learning media called ChemBo (Chemistry Board) which is fit to be used in learning process especially in addictive and psychotropic substances of science learning material. The method of this research is Reasearch and Development (R&D). There are seven steps in this method, which are research and collecting information, planning, developing initial form of product, preliminary field testing, preliminary product revision, and the last is final field testing and final product revision. A feasibility assessment in terms of graphic side, linguistic and material. Research’s subjects were junior high school students in Pontianak with the high, moderate and low school’s ranked for conducted field trials on the product. The study results showed that the level of feasibility and level of user respectively were 85.6% and 87.9%. Based on the result, media ChemBo (Chemistry Board) was really appropriate used in addictive and psychotropic substances of science learning material.
