EFEKTIVITAS PENGGUNAAN MEDIA VIDEO ANIMASI DALAM AKTIVITAS BELAJAR SISWA DI SMP
Abstract
Abstrak : Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui aktivitas belajar siswa dengan penggunaan media video animasi dan tanpa menggunakan media video animasi kelas VIII SMP Kemala Bhayangkari Kubu Raya dan untuk mengetahui efektivitas penggunaan media video animasi dibandingkan dengan tanpa penggunaan media video animasi. Metode penelitian yang di gunakan adalah eksperimen semu dengan rancangan penelitian post-test only control design. Subyek Penelitian ini kelas VIII A (kelas kontrol) dan kelas VIII D (kelas eksperimen). Hasil penelitian rata-rata post-test kelas eksperimen dalam dua pertemuan 65,40 dan kelas kontrol 50.00. Siswa yang tuntas dalam dua pertemuan kelas eksperimen 10 siswa (40,00%) dan kelas kontrol 7 siswa (26,00%). Jadi penggunaan media video animasi lebih efektif daripada tanpa penggunaan media video animasi. Effect size diperoleh sebesar 0,75. Maka berdasarkan kriteria yang berlaku nilai effect size termasuk dalam kategori sedang.

Abstract : This study aims to determine students learning activities with the use of animation and video media without using the medium of video animation class VIII SMP Kemala Bhayangkari Kubu Raya and to determine the effectiveness of using animation video media than without the use of an animated video media. The research method used was a quasi-experimental research design with the post-test only design. The subjects of this study class VIII A (control class) and class VIII D (experimental class). Results of the study the average post-test experimental class in two meetings 65.40 and 50.00 the control class. Students who complete the two meetings experimental class of 10 students (40.00%) and the control class 7 students (26.00%). So use animated video media is more effective than without the use of an animated video media. Effect size of 0.75 was obtained. So based on the applicable criteria including the value of the effect size in the medium category. Keywords: Media Video Animation
