KAJIAN ETNOBOTANI TUMBUHAN OBAT DI DESA PANDING JAYA KECAMATAN KETUNGAU TENGAH KABUPATEN SINTANG
Abstract
The people of Panding Jaya Village Ketungau Tengah Subdistrict Sintang Regency still highly depend on the forest for their daily needs, especially in the use of medicinal plants to cure of various diseases. This research was aims to determine the type and utilization of medicinal plants, parts used, how to mixes and various types of diseases that can be overcome using of medicinal plants. Research methodology used snowball sampling technique that has requesting information from the head of the village, local community elders, traditional midwife, and village shaman (manang). The results of this research can be concluded that in Panding Jaya Village Ketungau Tengah Subdistrict Sintang Regency, found 75 plant species that appertain within 51 family that can be used to treat 52 types of diseases. Based the habitus, the level of the tree is more widely used as a medicinal plant as many as 31 species (41.33%), and parts used are the leaves as many as 35 species (36.4%). How to use a lot more drink, as many as 46 types (50.54%). Whereas processing that more many with boiled, as many as 34 types (37.36%).
