TUMBUHAN MANGROVE YANG BERPOTENSI SEBAGAI OBAT DI KAWASAN PT. KANDELIA ALAM KECAMATAN KUBU KABUPATEN KUBU RAYA

Abstract

PT. Kandelia Alam is a company engaged in forestry, especially the management of mangrove forests. PT. Kandelia Alam works in the mangrove forest area at Kubu subdistrict Kubu Raya Regency with an area of 18,130 ha. The potential of mangrove forest in the area is very big one of the potential of medicinal plants. The aim of this research is to know the potency of mangrove plant as medicine in PT. Kandelia Alam. The objective of research is to provide information about the types of mangrove plants that have potential as drugs. This information can be developed as the basic material of medicine manufacture. The method of research using interview method of snowball sampling and inventory in the field using double plot method with purposive sampling in green and ecoton area. The size of 10 m x 10 m plot is 26 plots with an area of 2,6 Ha. Based on the overall results of mangrove plants that have potential as a drug contained in the area of PT. Kandelia Alam as many as 16 species consisting of 10 families. The part used is root, bark, fruit, and leaves. The used of medicinal plant was to drunk, eaten and swallowed. Processing there is a single and some are mixed with other plants. The highest INP value on the Mangrove Tree level (Rhizophora apiculata) (INP = 247,3%), the lowest at Crop level of Cengkodok (Melaboma malabathricum) (INP = 6.459%). Types of plants that dominate in the area of PT. Kandelia Alam is mangrove (Rhizophora apiculata). Based on the results of field data analysis, there is the highest Domain Index (C) on the green line (C = 0.36% - 0.99%), and species diversity in PT. Kandelia Alam is very low.
