UJI SPESIES MERANTI (Shorea spp) DI IUPHHK-HA PT. SUKA JAYA MAKMUR KABUPATEN KETAPANG

Abstract


Meranti (Shorea spp) is one type of forest plants that has high economic value. Supply of seed sources meranti need to get a good seed. PT Suka Jaya Makmur Ketapang regency was conducted a test plot development species meranti in this area. The aims of research is to determine the best growth Meranti species to be planted in area of IUPHHK-HA PT. Suka Jaya Makmur Ketapang Regency. Species trials was conducted using a Randomized Complete Blok Design (RCBD) treatment consist of: Shorea leprosula, Shorea parvifolia, Shorea johorensis, Shorea macrophylla, Shorea gimbosa, Shorea accuminata, Shorea stenoptera, Shorea fallax, Shorea Seminis, Shorea lamellata, Shorea platyclados, Shorea laevis, Shorea sp, Shorea ovalis , Shorea pinanga, Shorea scaberrima, Shorea smithiana, Shorea hopeifolia, Shorea faguetioides, and Shorea mecistopteryx. Research carried out five blocks meranti plants grown lane. Variables measured were percentage of survival, total height and diameter at breast height (DBH). The result showed that the best percentage of survival, total height and diameter is Shorea Seminis, Shorea stenoptera, Shorea Shorea platyclados and leprosula.
