Studi Literatur Penggunaan Obat Tradisional di Kalimantan Barat
Abstract
Most people in West Kalimantan still use traditional medicine as therapy. Not only from one type of folk remedies only. Many types of traditional medicine are utilized by the community to treat various diseases. The purpose of this research is to identify medicinal plants used by people in West Kalimantan and indications of their use through the study of articles. This research is a review article or review article that reviews the manuscript of publications or research articles through google scholar and the university repository published in West Kalimantan. The results of the study obtained medicinal plants used as traditional medicine include Orthosipon Aristatus, Eurycoma longifolia Jack, Morinda citrifolia L, Rosella, Piper Batle, Manihot Utilissima, Averrhoa bilimbi Linn, Curcuma domestica Val, Cymbopogon Citratus, Piper nigrum L, Shorea Macrophylla, and Poligonum minus Huds. Indications of use by the public because they believe as antidiabetes, antimalarial, antitumor, anticancer, anti-inflammatory, antihistamine. The results of the study showed that some people in West Kalimantan still exist who use traditional medicinal plants as medicine.
