Focus and Scope
The manuscript is the result of research and literature study in the fields of management, economics and entrepreneurship.
The field of management includes research results in corporate governance, financial management, human resource management, marketing management, production and operations management, strategic management, information technology management, consumer behavior, service marketing, financial accounting, management accounting, auditing, tax planning, and behavior aspects in business.
The field of economics includes empirical and theoretical research in the fields of economic theory, econometrics, industrial economics, international economics, monetary economics, development economics, community economics, urban and border economics, health economics, agricultural economics, human resource economics and Islamic economics.
The field of entrepreneurship focuses on small business management, retail trade, MSM enterprises, and trade in goods and services.

Peer Review Process
Articles that enter the EJME will be peer reviewed by at least 2 (two) reviewers. Accepted articles will be available online after a peer-review process. The language used in this journal is Indonesian and English.
Publication Frequency
EJME is published 4 times a year (January, April, July, October).
Open Access Policy
This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.
EJME Scientific Publication Ethics Guidelines
Equator Journal of Management and Entrepreneurship is a journal managed by the Master of Management Study Program, Faculty of Economics and Business, Tanjungpura University. EJME is a scientific journal that is published on-line and publishes articles or scientific works resulting from research and literature reviews in the fields of management and entrepreneurship.
This ethical statement of scientific publication is a statement of the code of ethics of all parties involved in the process of publishing this scientific journal, namely managers, editors, review partners, and authors. The Code of Ethics for Scientific Publications basically upholds three ethical values in publications, namely (i) Neutrality, which is free from conflicts of interest in the management of publications; (ii) Justice, namely granting authorship rights to those entitled to become authors; and (iii) Honesty, which is free from duplication, fabrication, falsification, and plagiarism in publications.
After reading this Scientific Publication Ethics, please download the Ethics Statement and Copyright Agreement. Please sign and submit the Ethics Statement as part of your initial article submission. The Copyright Agreement must be submitted before the article can be published.
Journal Manager Duties and Responsibilities
- Determine the name of the journal, scientific scope, periodicity, and accreditation if needed.
- Determine the membership of the editorial board.
- Defines the relationship between publishers, editors, review partners, and other parties to a contract.
- Appreciate things that are confidential, both for contributing researchers, authors/writers, editors, and review partners.
- Implement norms and provisions regarding intellectual property rights, especially copyright.
- Conduct a review of the journal's policy and submit it to the authors/authors, the editorial board, reviewers, and readers.
- Create behavioral code guides for editors and review partners.
- Publish journals regularly.
- Ensuring the availability of funding sources for the sustainability of journal publications.
- Building a network of cooperation and marketing.
- Prepare permits and other legal aspects.
Editor's Duties and Responsibilities
- Meeting the needs of readers and authors/writers,
- Strive to improve the quality of publications on an ongoing basis,
- Implement processes to ensure the quality of published papers,
- Prioritizing freedom of opinion objectively,
- Maintain the integrity of the author's academic track record,
- Submit corrections, clarifications, withdrawals, and apologies when needed,
- Responsible for the style and format of the written work, while the content and all statements in the written work are the responsibility of the author/writer.
- Actively solicit the opinions of authors, readers, review partners, and members of the editorial board to improve the quality of publications,
- Encouraging an assessment of the journal if there are findings,
- Support initiatives to educate researchers on publication ethics,
- Reviewing the effect of publication policies on the attitudes of authors/writers and peer reviewers and improving them to increase responsibility and minimize errors,
- Have an open mind to new opinions or views of others that may conflict with personal opinions,
- Do not defend your own opinion, the author or a third party that can result in an unobjective decision,
- Encouraging authors / writers, so that they can make improvements to the written work so that it is worthy of publication.
Reviewer Duties and Responsibilities
- Received an assignment from the editor to review the written work and submit the results of the study to the editor, as material for determining the feasibility of a written work to be published.
- The reviewer may not conduct a review of the written work that involves himself, either directly or indirectly
- Maintain the author's privacy by not disseminating the results of corrections, suggestions, and recommendations by providing criticism, suggestions, input, and recommendations
- Encouraging authors/writers to make improvements to written works
- Reviewing the written work that has been corrected in accordance with predetermined standards.
- The written work is reviewed in a timely manner according to the style of the publication environment based on scientific principles (data collection methods, author's legality, conclusions, etc.).
Duties and Responsibilities of the Author
- Ensure that those who are included in the list of authors/authors meet the criteria as authors
- Collectively responsible for the work and content of the article includes methods, analysis, calculations and details.
- State the origin of resources (including funding), either directly or indirectly.
- Explain the limitations of the research
- Respond to comments made by reviewers in a professional and timely manner.
- Inform the editor if he will withdraw his written work.
- Make a statement that the paper submitted for publication is original, has not been published anywhere in any language, and is not in the process of being submitted to another publisher.
Archiving
This journal utilizes the LOCKSS system to create a distributed archiving system among participating libraries and permits those libraries to create permanent archives of the journal for purposes of preservation and restoration. More...

Since EJME aims for not-profit orientation, any manuscripts published in EJME require no processing and submission charge. In other words, EJME encourages more academics and researchers to submit and publish their works in EJME with no processing charge include review and publication fee.
