FAKTOR-FAKTOR YANG MEMPENGARUHI PENDAPATAN PETANI KELAPA SAWIT DI KECAMATAN BELITANG HILIR KABUPATEN SEKADAU

Abstract

This research is entitled “Factor that Affect the of Oil palm Farmers in Sub-District of Belitang Hilir, Sekadau Regency”. This research aims to find out the factors that affected the income of oil palm farmers in the Sub-district of Belitang Hilir, Sekadau Regency. The method used in this research was descriptive which describes the problems that are found in the field and then analyzed in accordance with the data and facts. The sources of data used were primary and secondary data obtanined in the Sub-District of Belitang Hilir, Sekadau Regency.                    Research findings indicated that 54 out of 77 respondents used their own capital; laborers most often employed were between 4 to 6 people; the majority of the farmers had elementary education level; number of dependents was between 4 of 6 people at most in one family; and working hours of the majority of respondents were between 3 to 5 hours per day.                Keywords: Income, Oil Palm Farmers.
