PENGARUH SUKU BUNGA SBI TERHADAP KONSUMSI, JUMLAH UANG BEREDAR DAN INFLASI DI KALIMANTAN BARAT
Abstract
The development of the economy and the banking sector in Indonesia is quite good until finally started to decline again in the years around 2007-2008. This happens not solely the fault of the government of Indonesia in determining kebijakaannya akantetapi, this crisis caused by the crisis experienced by the country adidayaya the United States. With the crisis in the United States is lacking is then directly or indirectly influence other countries, because a lot of the economy in the United States is related dengannegara other countries, so that international trade became too distracted.
Writing method in this thesis is the survey method and analysis tools are quantitative methods. The study concluded as follows: 1) Variable interest rate (SBI) had no significant effect on consumption. The interest rate does not affect directly to the consumer, but through savings. High interest rates reduce consumption, because of high interest rates lead to saving money in the bank was more profitable than was spent for consumption, 2) Variable interest rate (SBI) had no significant effect on the money supply. Increased interest rates would cause the amount of money in circulation will be reduced because people prefer to save rather than twiddle their money in productive sectors or keep it in cash at home and 3) variable interest rate of Bank Indonesia Certificates (SBI) has a significant influence on inflation with the direction of a positive relationship, which means an increase in interest rates of Bank Indonesia Certificates followed by rising inflation. Inflation and interest rates have a reciprocal relationship.
