PENGARUH INTELLECTUAL CAPITAL TERHADAP KINERJA PERUSAHAAN SEMEN DAN KIMIA YANG TERDAFTAR DI BURSA EFEK INDONESIA (IDX)

Abstract

The research aims to examine the influence of Intellectual Capital (IC) to company’s financial performance (profitability, productivity, and market valuation. Profitability measured by Return On Asset (ROA), productivity measured by Asset Turn Over (ATO), and market valuation measured by Market to Book Value (MBV). Independent variable used in this research is Intellectual Capital which measured by VAIC, while dependent variable are ROA, ATO, and MBV.

Data are drawn from cement and chemical company listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) year period 2009-2013. The samples in this research using the method of purposive. Based on sampling criteria the final sample in this research is 6 cement and chemical companies. This research use simpe linier regression for data analysis.

The result of this research shows that Intellectual Capital has positive influence to profitability, Intellectual Capital has negative influence to productivity, and Intellectual Capital has negative influence to market valuation.
