ANALISIS PENENTUAN TARIF SEWA KAMAR DAN TARIF SPA DENGAN MENGGUNAKAN METODE ACTIVITY BASED COSTING SYSTEM PADA GARDENIA RESORT AND SPA PONTIANAK

Abstract

ABSTRACT

The objective of this study is to determining the amount of rental rates per room and spa rates at Gardenia Resort And Spa Pontianak by using Activity Based Costing System method and investigate the difference between the rental rates per room set and spa rates by Gardenia Resort And Spa Pontianak with the ones that is calculated by Activity Based Costing System method.

The method of analysis used in this research is descriptive quantitative analysis method that is based on the decision on the objective assessment based on the mathematical model created. The data studied are data on costs incurred on the unit of the room and each type of spa during 2015.

The result of research shows that from the calculation of hotel room rate by using activity based costing system method, when compared with room rate used by hotel then activity based costing system method gives bigger result for all room type is Premier Room room Rp 270,074.42., Suite Terrace room for Rp 270,668.89., Family Suite room Rp 349,003., Gardenia Suite room for Rp 403,172.59., Then for spa tariff result, activity based costing system method give bigger result for all spa type, that is Aruna Favorite Spa Signature type Rp 201,104., Traditional Massage Gardenia type Rp 184,198., Rejuvenating Facial type Rp 160,439.The conclusion of the researcher suggesting that Gardenia Resort And Spa Pontianak should consider the calculation of hotel room tariff and spa tariff based on activity based costing system method and still consider other external factors such as competitor's price and paying ability Affect pricing.

ABSTRAK

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui besarnya tarif sewa per kamar dan tarif per jenis Spa yang berlaku di Gardenia Resort and Spa Pontianak, untuk mengetahui besarnya tarif sewa per kamar hotel dan tarif per jenis spa menggunakan perhitungan metode activity based costing system, dan untuk mengetahui apakah ada perbedaan antara tarif yang ditetapkan Gardenia Resort and Spa Pontianak dengan tarif sewa tarif sewa per kamar dan tarif per jenis spa dengan menggunakan metode activity based costing system.

Metode analisis yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah metode analisis deskriptif kuantitatif yaitu analisis yang berdasarkan keputusan pada penilaian obyektif yang didasarkan pada model matematika yang dibuat. Data yang diteliti adalah data mengenai biaya yang terjadi pada unit kamar dan tiap jenis spa selama tahun 2015.

Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dari perhitungan tarif kamar hotel dengan menggunakan metode activity based costing system, apabila dibandingkan dengan tarif kamar yang digunakan pihak hotel maka metode activity based costing system memberikan hasil yang lebih besar untuk semua tipe kamar, yaitu kamar Premier Room sebesar Rp 270.074,42, kamar Terrace Suite sebesar Rp 270.668,89, kamar Family Suite sebesar Rp 349.003,02, kamar Gardenia Suite sebesar Rp 403.172,59. Kemudian untuk hasil tarif spa, metode activity based costing system memberikan hasil yang lebih besar untuk semua jenis spa, yaitu tipe Aruna Favorite Spa Signature sebesar Rp 201.104, tipe Traditional Massage Gardenia sebesar Rp 184.198, tipe Rejuvenating Facial sebesar Rp 160.439.

Dari kesimpulan yang ada peneliti memberikan saran agar Gardenia Resort And Spa Pontianak sebaiknya mempertimbangkan perhitungan harga pokok tarif kamar hotel dan tarif spa berdasarkan metode activity based costing system dan tetap mempertimbangkan faktor eksternal lainnya, seperti harga tarif pesaing dan kemampuan membayar (dayabeli) tamu hotel yang mempengaruhi penetapan harga.
