Abstract


The purpose of this study is to analyze the values adopted by families and achievement motives for entrepreneurial performance, and mediated by family involvement in tourism activities. The population in this study was the Lekuk 50 Tumbi tourism village and the Jernih Jaya tourist village sample were institutions or institutions classified by the tourism community in two Kerinci regency tourist destinations consisting of 105 units. Data were collected by questionnaire and analyzed using multiple regression analysis. the results showed that the achievement motive had a direct and significant effect on entrepreneurial performance. Furthermore, family values directly do not have a positive and significant effect on performance, family values on performance through family involvement in tourism activities do not have a positive and significant effect on entrepreneurial performance and motives for achievement on performance through family involvement in tourism activities also do not have a positive influence and significant on entrepreneurial performance. Family values and achievement motives through insignificant family involvement are related to the lack of marketing communication efforts between the government and MSMEs and tour operators in the tourist villages, the tendency of the government to conduct massive marketing communication, and not to identify tourist destinations and tour operators directly in destination.
