Analisis Penggunaan Mobile Banking oleh Generasi X di Indonesia

Abstract


Nowadays, people lifestyle especially generation X are changing along with rapid development of technology in the digital era. It can be seen in the payment system from the traditional era to the digital era. This research aims to identify the main determining factors for generation X mobile banking that adoption in Indonesia by Technology Acceptance Model 2 (TAM 2) theory, which is expanded by adding the constructs of subjective norms and trust. This research adapts a quantitative approach by using a survey method for the data collection process. The research sample are generation X in Indonesia who use mobile banking. The questionnaire sheet used by form of link and barcode were distributed randomly via social media. The research sample collected were 224 respondents. The data analysis method was used PLS-SEM to know the research hypothesis. The results of research are perceived ease of use and trust have a significant positive about behavioral intentions. Meanwhile, perceived usefulness and subjective norms don’t have a significant positive about behavioral intentions. On the other hand, perceived ease of use also have a significant positive effect on perceived usefulness. This research also show that behavioral intentions have a significant positive on actual use. The findings of this research have vital implications in developing mobile banking applications for generation X in Indonesia.
